CRADLE OF FILTH Announces U.K. Dates

British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH have announced three U.K. dates in support of their new album, "Thornography", which will be released on October 16. They are as follows:

Dec. 17 - Manchester, UK @ Academy
Dec. 18 - Birmingham, UK @ Academy
Dec. 19 - London, UK @ Astoria

Support at the shows will come from the reunited British thrashers SABBAT, featuring guitarist-turned-producer Andy "Undie" Sneap and ex-SKYCLAD singer Martin Walkyier.

As previously reported, a short audio sample of the CRADLE OF FILTH track "Byronic Man", featuring guest vocals from H.I.M.'s Ville Valo, has been posted online at the H.I.M. fan site H-I-M666.com.

The follow-up to 2004's "Nymphetamine", "Thornography" was recorded at Lincolnshire, England's Chapel studios with producer Rob Caggiano (BLEEDING THROUGH, ANTHRAX) and was mixed at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, SKINLAB, NEVERMORE). A full-length track from the CD, entitled "Dirge Inferno", is available for streaming at this location. The narraration for "Thornography" was once again laid down by Doug Bradley (a.k.a. "Hellraiser"'s chief Cenobite, Pinhead),who has previously worked with the group on "Her Ghost in the Fog" and "Swansong for a Raven".
